Code of Conduct

Zillow Group, Inc. (“Zillow”) is committed to providing a welcoming and safe event experience. For complete details on the terms and conditions that apply to registration and other important information (the “Terms”), please read below. 

For purposes of these Terms, the term “Zillow Event” refers to any conference, summit, seminar, webinar, meeting, trade show, networking function, recreational or physical activity, promotional event, or similar gathering (whether held in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid format) that is organized, sponsored, or otherwise presented by Zillow, either independently or in collaboration with third-party partners. This includes, without limitation, Unlock and any future Zillow-branded or affiliated events, regardless of location, medium, or scale. By attending the Zillow Event, you are subject to the Terms and Conditions set forth below. 

1. REGISTRATION AND RATES

Once you complete your registration for the Zillow Event, your purchase is final and non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the Event terms. Please verify the registration category, pricing, and terms before submitting payment.

Zillow may offer promotional, discount, or coupon codes (collectively, “Promotional Codes”) for a limited time. These codes are valid only for specified ticket types and cannot be applied to other categories or used retroactively.

Group registrations must be submitted with accurate attendee information. If you are the group organizer, you are responsible for obtaining consent from attendees to share their personal information and for ensuring that all members of your group comply with these Terms.

2. CANCELLATION, REFUND, AND TRANSFER POLICY

Cancellations by Attendee: Attendees may cancel their registration in accordance with the event terms, as outlined at the time of your Zillow Event registration. 

Cancellations by Zillow: If Zillow cancels the Zillow Event, your registration will be canceled and you may receive a full refund in accordance with the Event terms. If a refund is available due to cancellations by Zillow, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

3. CODE OF CONDUCT

Zillow believes that all people deserve to be treated equally and with respect, regardless of their race, ethnicity, nationality, class, religion, belief, sex, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, health or other status. Zillow chooses to work with professionals who share these values and embody them in their interactions with consumers, Zillow employees, and other professionals. Zillow does not tolerate harassing, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior, messages, images, or interactions by any Zillow Event participant, in any form, at any aspect of the Zillow Event, including business and social activities, regardless of location. Soliciting other attendees for business purposes is also strictly prohibited. Please promptly report any concerns, harassing behavior, unsafe conditions, suspicious or disruptive activity to the nearest security guard or Zillow Event staff. If the matter is of a serious or criminal nature, dial 911. Zillow reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from, the Zillow Event at any time in its sole discretion without refund of Zillow Event fees. At Zillow’s discretion, we may also ban you from future events for a definite or indefinite time period. Zillow expects all participants to contribute to a welcoming environment, whether attending in person or virtually.

4. AGE REQUIREMENTS

You must be 18 years or older to attend a Zillow Event unless accompanied by a registered adult and approved by Zillow. By registering, you confirm that you, and any guest you bring, meet this age requirement.

5. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, AND AUDIO RELEASE

By attending a Zillow Event, you (and any guest you bring) give permission to Zillow, its partners, and contractors to display, publicly perform, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, reproduce, record, photograph, digitize, modify, alter, edit, adapt, create derivative works of, exploit and/or otherwise use, reproduce, and otherwise display, in whole or in part, any and all photographs and/or video taken of you (or one of your guests) during the Zillow Event for any purpose, including, without limitation, Zillow marketing, Zillow Event attendee communications, promotional, and archival purposes without any further consent from you, your guests, or any compensation or notice to you, your guests, or your assignees. This includes live streaming and distribution via Zillow’s digital and media channels.

6. PRIVACY

Personal information provided during registration will be processed in accordance with Zillow’s Privacy Notice. Your contact information may also be shared with select Zillow Event sponsors if you opt in or engage with sponsor materials.

Badge scanning or digital interaction with sponsor content may provide those sponsors access to your information. You may withdraw consent by contacting the sponsor.

7. ACCESSIBILITY & SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Zillow aims to ensure all Zillow Events are accessible to all attendees. If you require assistance, including mobility, visual, or auditory accommodations, please indicate such at the time of your Zillow Event registration.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Zillow Event content, including presentations, materials, and trademarks, are the property of Zillow or the respective content owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or display any content without prior written consent from Zillow or the rights holder.

9. HEALTH & SAFETY

Zillow Events will comply with applicable local health and safety regulations. You (and any guest you bring) must follow all onsite instructions related to security, emergency procedures, and public health guidelines required by Zillow; by any hotel, event center, or other venue hosting this event; or by any federal, state, or local orders or law.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER 

Zillow is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that occurs in connection with attendance at or participation in a Zillow Event, unless and only to the extent caused directly by Zillow’s gross negligence or willful misconduct. This includes, without limitation, losses arising from acts of God, pandemics, strikes, or any events beyond Zillow’s control.

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE ZILLOW EVENT(S), YOU EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ZILLOW EVENT(S), WHETHER SUCH RISKS OCCUR BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER THE ZILLOW EVENT(S). TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU (AND ANY GUEST YOU BRING) HEREBY IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ALL LEGAL AND EQUITABLE RIGHTS RELATED TO CLAIMS ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM YOUR ATTENDANCE (OR ONE OF YOUR GUEST’S ATTENDANCE) AT THE ZILLOW EVENT AND PARTICIPATION IN RELATED ACTIVITIES.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms and your participation in a Zillow Event are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Seattle, WA, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS

Zillow may revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted at https://events.zillowgroup.com/ZG-event-code-of-conduct. Continued registration or attendance at the Zillow Event constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
